These two days were not rich in events. We are now very careful, as I began to believe in superstitions and omens.
Usually, for me the week before Orthodox Easter is very difficult and full of troubles. So I try not to plan anything important and be very careful. This also applies to my birds. Ten years ago, when Corrie lived with me, and Roxy was not there yet, an amazing story happened to me. It was on the night of Good Friday. In Ukraine, this is considered the most dangerous day of the year. On this day, the dark forces are especially strong.
So on this night ten years ago, I woke up from the fact that I felt something jumping over the bed on which I slept. I opened my eyes and saw that Corrie was sitting on the windowsill with a huge black cat next to her. Around the cat's neck is a collar with a golden bell. The cat slowly approaches Corrie. I reacted very quickly and drove the cat away. Then I caught Corrie and put her in a cage. Next, I turned on the light and saw that the big black cat was sitting in the corner and scratching the wall with its claws. I tried to push her away, but she began to hiss. I noticed that the cat got into the apartment through the window. I was pretty sure I didn't leave the window open. I live on the third floor and was surprised how this cat could climb in my window.
It's also not clear to me how Corrie got out of the cage at night since she usually slept in a closed cage. That night, I tried for several hours to kick this cat out of the apartment, but it was a difficult task.
The cat did not want to go out the window, as well as through the open door. Only at dawn did the cat finally leave my apartment. I did not go to bed and went to the office to work.
I understood that this is a very strange story and this event is a sign for me. My premonitions did not deceive me. At the office, I learned that my business partner had died that night. He died in the morning at dawn from a heart attack. His wife said that before he died, he said he saw a black cat. Here is such a story.
On Roxy's condition: The bird requires a lot of my attention, especially when walking. Today I couldn't take Roxy out of the closet for a long time.
About the situation in Kyiv:
There was practically no shelling, but the sound signal was audible. This year the spring is very cold and there is no joy in the change of season.

That sent chills down my spine. A really creepy incident for you and I don't blame you for feeling extra careful and superstitious during this time. I am so glad Corrie was okay. I would totally freak out going through that with the whole incident being topped off by the death of your colleague.

Wow that story left me feeling cold! I have lived in a house with a poltergeist that moved furniture and switched lights on so there are things in this world that science can’t explain and that we do not understand! I love stories like this, so spooky! But that is amazing because last night I had a dream about my black cat, Maximus who I lost in November last year. He comes to visit me in my dreams every now and then but only I can see him.
